According to our distribution contract, our partnership conditions are as follows:
The Supplier’s Products benefit from a reputation based on their aesthetic character, and therefore on the ability to develop and preserve a well-known brand image, the maintenance of which is conditional on a sales outlet highlighting this aesthetic specificity.
These Products must therefore be marketed in conditions appropriate to their image, under the responsibility and competence of qualified personnel, and in a suitable sales area.
The Supplier’s desire to maintain the prestige of the Products under appropriate sales conditions is a decisive competitive factor, justifying the use of selective distribution, and ensuring that consumers can be assured that the Products will continue to be characterized by a qualitative brand image.
Against this backdrop, the Supplier has developed a selective distribution concept based on the selection of resellers with the necessary professional qualifications to resell the Products, and operating in suitable outlets.
These resellers are selected on the basis of objective qualitative and quantitative criteria, as described herein, based in particular on the professional skills and commercial experience required to distribute the Products under optimum conditions, as well as on the layout of a sales outlet in an environment that enhances the presentation of the Products.
These criteria enable approved distributors to improve the technical and commercial performance of their sales, in the interests of better distribution of Products to end consumers.
The Supplier is the head of the distribution network, backed by the guarantee of an efficient supply policy and a strong brand image.
Point of sale – Fittings
The Distributor must have a location and/or area for commercial use permanently dedicated to the retail sale of Products.
The location reserved for the sale of said Products must be clearly identifiable by consumers.
Where necessary, it is specified that the Supplier does not provide a display stand or any other support for the presentation of the Products.
The Distributor has shown the Supplier the approved sales outlet at the address mentioned in Article 2, where it will display and sell the Products, to the exclusion of any other location.
The Distributor undertakes to carry out, at its own expense, throughout the term of the Contract, any maintenance, repair or renovation work which may prove necessary in order to maintain the Authorized Sales Outlet in the conditions referred to in the present article.
The selection criteria for the sales outlet also relate to its interior layout and the environment in which the Products are displayed, which must reflect the brand image of the Products.
Interior fittings:
The Distributor must have a sales outlet which, notably through its layout, corresponds to the quality image of the Products. The following factors are taken into consideration when assessing the quality of the sales outlet:
- the size and decoration of the windows, which must reflect the prestige of the Products or, at least, not depreciate them;
- the layout of the approved sales outlet, which must be able to accommodate all the references ordered by the Product Distributor and enable consumers to view the Products in the best possible conditions;
- the decoration and lighting of the Authorized Sales Outlet, which must enable the Products to be presented in an impeccable manner and contribute to their aesthetic appeal.
Environment:
The Products must be marketed in an environment of similar products in keeping with their brand image.
The Distributor undertakes not to place in the vicinity of the Products any other products likely to depreciate their brand image.
